Using Objects to Compose an Animation (Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4)

11. To show the first stroke of paint, first drag the paintbrush down (halfway through the first row of paint). Then resize the object in step 10. Click the Transform Tool on the Tool Panel and drag the control nodes on the lower right corner to resize.

12. Click Duplicate Frame on the Frame Panel.

13. To finish the first row of paint, you can't just resize the existing painted area as it will alter the size of the object in the previous frame. Instead, you will make a duplicate of the object by right-clicking the object and selecting Duplicate Object. Only then can we modify it as it is now a different object.

14. Now, drag the paintbrush to the lower left corner of the canvas and resize the duplicated object (again using the Transform Tool) in step 13 to finish the entire row of paint.
